Dr Mulligan graduated from the University of Saskatchewan’s Veterinary College in 2006 and returned to his home province of British Columbia to begin his career in large animal private practice. After 16 years of working and living in the Kamloops area Dr. Mulligan along with his wife Stacey decided to embark on a new chapter in life and build their own mobile large animal practice serving the livestock and equine community of the North Thompson and Kamloops area.
Dr Mulligan calls upon a wide range of experience with all animals from horses and cattle to goats and sheep to solve the daily challenges encountered in practice. No matter the size of animal, Dr Mulligan is always willing to help with a practical and common-sense approach and with a genuine concern for his clients and patients. Having grown up as the son of teachers, he understands the importance of education in helping his clients achieve success through the health of their animals and thus their families.
Dr Mulligan walks the walk, living on a 40 acre farm in Heffley Creek along with his wife Stacey and an assortment of animals including his Scottish Terrier Duffy who travels frequently on farm calls. When he’s not busy helping others, Rob enjoys some quiet time riding with his horse Marty in the surrounding mountains or fishing on a nearby lake with Stacey.
